Set up a KMS Host on a Windows Server 2008 R2 machine

Applies to: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2

Volume-licensed Windows products require activation. If you are using key management service (KMS) to activate your Windows client and server products, then you need to set up a KMS host. Volume editions of Windows client and server products have the KMS client setup key preinstalled, but require activation with a KMS host. This demo shows you how to set up a Windows KMS host on a Windows Server 2008 R2 machine.
