Make sure that the disk has a signature.

Make sure that the disk is configured as basic and not dynamic.

Make sure that all partitions on the disk are formatted using the NTFS file system.

Important

  • If you use drive letters, assign drive labels that match the drive letters and make sure that you assign the same drive letter to each node in the cluster.
