Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit Demo: Simplify Windows Azure migration planning with MAP

About This Video
In this overview demo, you’ll learn how you can use the Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit to streamline and simplify your migration planning to the Windows Azure platform.

The demonstration focuses on a Windows Azure platform migration scenario in which an organization is considering migrating web applications and data base resources to the Azure platform, but needs help understanding required Windows Azure features. It will walk you through the assessment process, illustrating how you can use MAP to obtain consistent analysis and metrics that translate easily to Azure platform features and address your organization’s questions quickly, easily, and accurately.

Discover how the rich readiness reporting in the MAP Toolkit simplifies Windows Azure deployments! The MAP Toolkit helps you your organization in planning for the Windows Azure platform; automates discovery and inventory reporting of web applications, IIS servers, and SQL databases; and estimates required cloud features, including the number of Windows Azure compute instances, the number of SQL Azure databases, bandwidth usage, and storage.
