The Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) read-only shared cache for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and now for Remote Desktop Services (RDS) reduces storage requirements by allowing multiple VDI or Remote Desktop Session Hosts to share a single copy of virtual applications on a storage area network.
