Session Outline
In this session we will look a the new network stack in Windows Vista, we will talk about how innovations in the stack will help secure the network by enabling new features to filter network traffic and prevent unwanted forwarding. The Windows Firewall has new features based on the Windows Filtering Platform. We will cover the new rules system, which has many scenarios already defined in an easy to use interface. We will also see have Windows Vista helps secure connections with tightly integrated Internet Protocol security. We will also see how the Vista implementation of IPSEC improves security and interoperability in mixed networking environments. New management features in Group Policy and enhanced Command Line Interface tools give greater control over connections.

In this demonstration, we'll use a wizard to isolate a computer. For example, you can isolate a server in your domain from computers outside your domain, such as computers on the Internet or another domain. You may have sensitive data, such as employee personal information stored on a server in the Human Resources domain. Using isolation, you can prevent computer or users that do not belong to the Human Resources organization from reaching the computer.
