Microsoft Technical Communities
The Microsoft Technical Communities (MSTC) program supports user group leaders and speakers with their community engagement and helps you connect with people interested in Microsoft technologies.
Support for user group leaders and speakers
If you are a community leader or speaker, the program has a lot of great benefits to support you with your community engagement (all for free), including the following:
- Offers: Including free eBooks for yourself, eBook vouchers to raffle off at your meetings and a free one-year Office 365 subscription to help collaboration within your user group. In addition, MSTC helps you to promote your events. MSTC will place ads ($100 value each) on Facebook or LinkedIn to help boost attendance at your meetings. MSTC also works with TechNet and MSDN to promote your events on those sites. All you need to do is submit your event in MSTC
- Content: Access technical TechTrax webcasts on community topics as well as Train-the-Trainer sessions, presented and recorded by technical experts from Microsoft. The best part is that this material is available for download to use at events (e.g. PowerPoint presentations with speaker notes, demo scripts)
- Speaker and leader connection to learn and network: Join the MSTC community to find the right event speakers, connect with other community leaders, and contact local Microsoft representatives with feedback
