Microsoft Office Groove 2007 is a powerful new tool that has been added to the Microsoft Office 2007 suite. In this session, we will be taking a closer look at Groove 2007 and how it is able to improve team collaboration and productivity. We will start with an introduction to Microsoft Office Groove 2007 and discuss what Groove 2007 is and how Groove 2007 can help you and your team work together more effectively and improve the quality of your deliverables. We will also see what security measures have been implemented which make Groove 2007 a more secure collaborative team workspace. We will examine a few of the more popular tools included with Groove 2007 along with other software that will help customize Groove 2007 workspaces.

Demo: Installing the Groove Manager

In this demonstration, we will perform the post-installation steps necessary for Groove Server Manager installation, set up Active Directory Integration with Groove Server Manager, and deploy two new users to the Groove Managed Domain.  

Demo: Setting Up a New Workspace

In this demonstration, we will be working with the Groove client. First, we will create a new Groove Workspace, and then add users, files, and tools to the new workspace.  

Demo: Using and Configuring Groove

In this demonstration, we will be working with the Groove Client and exploring the workspace properties, user preferences, and Communications Manager.  

Demo: Groove Manager

In this demonstration, we will work with the Groove Manager portal and explore the different reports available. We will also examine user and device policies available.
