Demo: Exchange Best Practices Analyzer

In this demonstration, we'll explore some of the options available through ExBPA prior to running a scan. We'll run a scan against the local Exchange Server, and we'll explore some of the suggestions ExBPA makes to improve our installation. We'll also access an archived report that we ran against a larger messaging environment to see the variety of issues that ExBPA will detect.

Demo: Disaster Recovery Analyzer Tool

In this demonstration, we'll use the Disaster Recovery Analyzer Tool to diagnose an offline Exchange database at different levels of failure. We'll examine the result of each failure to see how the Analyzer suggests fixing these database problems.

Demo: Outlook Web Access Administration Tool

In this demonstration, we'll explore the various configuration options available with the Outlook Web Access Administration Tool.

Demo: Exchange Management Pack Configuration Wizard

In this demonstration, we'll run the Exchange Management Pack Configuration Wizard on our network and explore the options that the wizard enables on the MOM server for the Exchange Management Pack.

Demo: Exchange Server User Monitor

In this demonstration, we'll run the Exchange Management Pack Configuration Wizard on our network and explore the options that the wizard enables on the MOM server for the Exchange Management Pack.

Demo: Exchange Server User Monitor

During this demonstration, we'll run the Exchange Server User Monitor to collect some sample data about the clients connecting to the Exchange server. We'll examine the types of information that the monitor collects and the different views available to view the collected information.

Demo: Performance Troubleshooting Analyzer Tool

In this demonstration, we'll use the Performance Troubleshooting Analyzer Tool to diagnose the local Exchange server for issues that may affect the server's performance. We'll learn about the issues that the Analyzer finds and how it suggests we fix the problems.

Demo: Restricting Access to Internet E-mail

During this demonstration, we'll explore several ways in which you can configure Internet e-mail access on the Exchange Server. However, since our goal is to restrict access to Internet e-mail, we'll focus on the settings that you use to block this.
