Session Outline
In this session, we will examine Group Policy functionality improvements that have been made with Windows Vista. The session will describe the new and updated features and how these help alleviate problems that were present with previous versions of Windows. With the number of Group Policy settings increasing from approximately 1,700 in Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1, to approximately 3,000 in Windows Vista and Windows Server Longhorn, we will only look at the biggest improvements and give a good starting point for you to utilize the new Group Policy settings. We will also introduce Quality of Service policies which are available with Windows Vista.
