Applies To: Microsoft HPC Pack 2008 R2, Microsoft HPC Pack 2012, Microsoft HPC Pack 2012 R2, Windows HPC Server 2008 R2

You can stop the deployment process of a node from HPC Cluster Manager by cancelling the provisioning operations.

To cancel the deployment of a node

  1. In Node Management, in the Navigation Pane, click Nodes.

  2. To see only nodes that are currently being deployed, under Nodes, under By Node State, click Provisioning.

  3. In the views pane, click the node that you want to stop deploying.

  4. To cancel the provisioning operations, in the Detail Pane, on the Node Health tab, click Cancel provisioning. The deployment process will stop, the node will be moved to the Unknown state, and the node health for that node will be changed to Unapproved.
