Ewf Class (Standard 7 SP1)

The Ewf class is used to apply settings to all volumes in the protected volume list of the Enhanced Write Filter.

The following syntax is simplified from Managed Object Format (MOF) code and includes all of the inherited properties.

Description

CheckpointAll Method

Adds a new checkpoint overlay level on all protected volumes with an enabled overlay.

CommitAll Method

Commits the data from the overlay to the volumes in the protected volume list of the Enhanced Write Filter.

DisableAll Method

Disables the overlay for all volumes in the protected volume list of the Enhanced Write Filter.

EnableAll Method

Enables the overlay for all volumes in the protected volume list of the Enhanced Write Filter.

RestoreAll Method

Restores the protected volumes to the state of the previous overlay level.

Properties

The Ewf class defines the following properties.

  • HormActivated

    • Data type: boolean

      Access type: Read/write

      Specifies whether HORM is active.
