Sync-SRGroup

Brian Lich|Last Updated: 4/3/2017

SYNOPSIS

Starts or resumes replication for a replication group.

SYNTAX

Sync-SRGroup [[-ComputerName] <String>] [-Name] <String> [-Force] [-CimSession <CimSession[]>]
 [-ThrottleLimit <Int32>] [-AsJob] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION

The Sync-SRGroup cmdlet starts or resumes replication for a replication group. If you pause replication, Storage Replica dismounts the volume. Applications and users cannot access this volume until you run Sync-SRGroup.

EXAMPLES

Example 1: Resume replication

PS C:\>Sync-SRGroup -Name "ReplicationGroup01"

This command resumes replication on the replication group named ReplicationGroup01.

The throttle limit applies only to the current cmdlet, not to the session or to the computer.
