SYNOPSIS

Removes an IIS website.

SYNTAX

Remove-Website [-Name] <String> [-WhatIf] [-Confirm] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION

The Remove-Website cmdlet removes a website from an Internet Information Services (IIS) server.

EXAMPLES

Example 1: Remove a web site

IIS:\> Remove-WebSite -Name "TestSite"

This command removes the site named TestSite.

Prompts you for confirmation before running the cmdlet.
