Description

Logs a user off automatically when the system cannot load the user's roaming user profile. This entry is used when the system cannot find the roaming user profile or when the profile contains errors that prevent it from loading correctly.

This entry stores the setting of the Log users off when roaming profile fails Group Policy. Group Policy adds this entry to the registry with a value of 1 when you enable the policy. If you disable the policy or set it to Not configured, Group Policy deletes this entry from the registry, and the system behaves as though the value is 0.

Meaning

1

Enabled. When the roaming profile fails to load, the system logs the user off.

Change method

To change the value of this entry, use Group Policy. This entry corresponds to the Log users off when roaming profile fails Group Policy (Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon).
