Description
Specifies the source of data for system policies in Windows NT 4.0 and earlier. This entry is not used by Group Policy in Windows 2000.

Change method
To change the value of this entry, select or clear Remote Update (Computer\Network\System policies update) in System Policy Editor, and then use the Update mode list box to select the update mode.

Note
The values in this subkey are not used by Group Policy in Windows 2000. They remain in the registry to support System Policy Editor for Windows NT 4.0.
