About_Allow_Lists

Applies To: System Center 2012 R2 Service Manager

The allow list contains a list of classes which is used by the Operations Manager CI Connector during synchronization in Service Manager. All concrete classes in the allow list are synchronized. As for abstract classes in the allow list, only the first-level concrete classes are synchronized.

Service Manager provides several cmdlets that you can use to manipulate the allow list, as follows:

  • Get-SCSMAllowList - Retrieves the allow list that is used by the Operations Manager CI Connector during synchronization in Service Manager.

  • Reset-SCSMAllowList - Resets the allow list to the default allow list.

  • Add-SCSMAllowListClass - Adds the specified classes to the allow list.

  • Remove-SCSMAllowListClass - Removes the specified classes from the allow list of classes that are used by the Operations Manager CI Connector during synchronization in Service Manager.
