DECIMAL (Report Builder 1.0)

Converts a value to a decimal.

Syntax

DECIMAL(value)

value

Indicates the number to convert to a decimal.

You can specify the number of decimal places after the decimal by using the Number tab on the Format dialog box.

Formula	Result
DECIMAL(Vacation Hours)	Converts each instance of the Vacation Hours field into a decimal and returns data that looks similar to the following: 99.00 98.00
DECIMAL(3)	3.0

DECIMAL(Vacation Hours)
