How to: Change the Chart Area of a Chart (Report Builder 1.0)

You can add borders to and change the default background color of the chart area.

To change the chart area

  1. In Report Builder design mode, right-click anywhere on the chart.

  2. Click Chart Options.

  3. On the Chart Type tab, click Format Background.

    The Format dialog box appears with the Border and Fill tabs.

  4. On the Border tab, select the border options that you want to display around your chart.

  5. On the Fill tab, select a color for the background of the chart area.

  6. Click OK, and then click OK again.

    The chart area changes to reflect your selections.
