Create cost categories (CA)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

  1. Click Cost accounting > Common > Cost categories.

  2. Press CTRL+N to create a new line.

  3. In the Cost category field, enter the appropriate information.

  4. In the Cost type field, select either Primary costs, Secondary costs, or Service category.

  5. On the General tab, in the Transaction control field group, select the check boxes for the dimensions that you want to create cost transactions for.
