Sales order line explosion (class form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Sales and marketing > Common > Sales orders > All sales orders. Select a sales order and click Edit. Select a sales order line and click Product and supply > Explosion. Click Update.
Use this form to run a sales order explosion for the selected line. The program calculates all levels of requirements and generates planned orders with proposed quantities and dates. You can use the information to provide promised dates for orders to your customer. You can view the details in the Explosion form after you run the explosion.
