Journal descriptions - General ledger (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click General ledger > Setup > Journals > Journal descriptions.
Use this form to create descriptions that you can select on journal lines.
Example
Enter Description 1 in the Identification field.
Enter Daily in the Search name field.
Enter Daily transactions in the Description field.
On a journal line, type Daily or Description 1 in the Description field.
The text Daily transactions is automatically found and is entered in the Description field on the line.
