How to Change the Specified Metabase

This topic provides steps for changing the specified metabase in an IIS Metabase project. You can change the IIS Web site that is associated with the settings that you want to stage.

To change the specified metabase

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and the click Commerce Server Staging.

  2. In Microsoft Management Console (MMC), in the left pane, expand Commerce Server Staging, expand <server name>, and then click Projects.

  3. In the right pane, right-click the metabase project that you want to change, and then click Properties.

  4. In the Project Properties dialog box, on the Project tab, select Metabase deployment, and then click Advanced.

  5. In the IIS Metabase Deployment dialog box, from the drop-down list, select the IIS Web site that is associated with the settings that you want to stage, and then click OK.

  6. In the Project Properties dialog box, click OK.
