Create variables on the Simple tab

Variables of this type are simple variables that are used in product model calculations.

This information applies only to Product builder.

  1. Click Product information management > Common > Product builder > Product models.

  2. Double-click a product model.

  3. Click Product model.

  4. Select the Simple tab and press CTRL+N to create a new line.

  5. Select the variable type in the Type field.

  6. In the Variable field, type the name of the variable.

  7. Select the Array check box if the variable should be an array, that is, an indexed table that contains several values (rows). For more information, see About variable groups of array type.

  8. If the current variable is an array, enter the number of array elements (rows) in the Max. field.

  9. In the Default field, you can assign a default value to the variable. If the variable is an array, click Default value to assign default values to each array element.
