Select for credit note (form) [AX 2012]

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Project invoices > Project invoice journals. In the Invoice journals form, select the invoice for which you want to create a credit note. On the menu bar, click Functions, and then click Select for credit note

This option is not available if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Project invoices > Project invoices. On the Project invoices list page, select the invoice for which you want to create a credit note. On the Action Pane, in the Functions group, click Select for credit note

This option is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

Use this form to choose transactions that you want to reverse or to credit back to the customer on a selected invoice. In Microsoft Dynamics AX, transactions can be reversed by including them in credit notes. You can reverse the total invoice amount or select individual transactions to reverse.

Deselect hours

Clear all selected transactions on the Hour tab.

Select expenses

Select all transactions on the Expenses tab.

Clear all selected transactions on the Item tab.

Select fees

Select all transactions on the Fee tab.

Clear all selected transactions on the Fee tab.

Clear all selected transactions on the On-account tab.

Select all transactions that are on all tabs.

Clear the selections for all transactions that are on all tabs.

Project date

The project transaction date.

Invoice

The project invoice number.

Project ID

The project identifier.

Category

The invoice category.

Activity number

The identification number of the activity.

Worker

The worker who is attached to the transaction.

Item number

The item number that is attached to the transaction.

Service subscription

The service subscription for the transaction.

Hours

The hours of the transaction.

Start date

The starting date of the transaction.

End date

The ending date of the transaction.

Quantity

The quantity of the transaction.

Sales currency

The sales currency of the transaction.

Sales price

The total sales price of the transaction.

Unit price

The unit price for items attached to the transaction.

Line amount

The line amount of the transaction.

Transaction ID

The transaction identifier.
