Copy fixed asset (form)

Click Fixed assets > Common > Fixed assets > Fixed assets. Select a fixed asset. On the Action Pane, click Copy fixed asset.
Use this form to copy the setup of a fixed asset to a new line to create a new fixed asset record, and then change the information, as necessary, for the new asset.
The new fixed asset has zero balances and no transactions.
Note
If new fixed asset lines should be created automatically with new fixed asset numbers, select the Autonumber fixed assets check box in the General ledger parameters or Fixed asset groups forms. If you select one of those check boxes, the Copy fixed asset form does not appear.
