Mailing category (form)

Click Sales and marketing > Setup > Mailings > Mailing categories.

Use this form to set up and maintain mailing categories for items, such as brochures and product samples, which your organization sends to contacts.

The categories that you create in this form are available in the Mailings form. You can use them when you record the types of mail items that are sent to a prospect’s contact.

A mailing category can have many subcategories. Subcategories are called items. You can use subcategories to subdivide and categorize your organization’s e-mail correspondence in more detail. A mailing category might be a technical sales convention for all interested parties, and the subcategories might be the convention in Atlanta, the convention in Los Angeles, the convention in Paris, and the convention in Tokyo.
