Updated: May 18, 2011

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Example

You want to calculate a cash flow forecast for the next six months, and you want to include the budget and your orders in the calculation. Additionally, you have already entered an amount of orders that match 90 percent of the budget for the first month, 50 percent for the second month, and 10 percent for the third month. For the following month, you do not expect orders to have an effect.

NoteNote

You must create the allocation key in the Period allocation categories form before you can enter it in the Accounts payable parameters form.
