Price combinations (form) [AX 2012]

Click Product information management > Common > Product builder > Product models. Select a product model number line, and then click Price combinations.

Use this form to create various price combinations. These combinations can be used when items are configured in Accounts receivable, Project management and accounting, and Sales and marketing.

NoteNote

Price combinations are not supported for purchase orders and production orders.

Price adjustment in currency

Set up price adjustments in specific currencies. For more information, see Price adjustment in currency (form).

Price/Discount setup

Specify the formula for a calculated price adjustment calculation or create a rule for an amount-based or percentage-based price adjustment. For more information, see Price/Discount setup (form).

Field

Description

Description

The description of the price adjustment.

Percentage/Amount

Specify the type of the current price adjustment:

  • Amount – The item price will be adjusted with an absolute amount that is specified in the Price adjustment field.

  • Percent – The item price will be adjusted with a percentage that is specified in the Price adjustment field.

  • Calculated – The item price will be adjusted with a value that is calculated by using the formula that you specify when you click Price/Discount setup.

Price adjustment

Specify the price adjustment, either as an amount in the default currency, or as a percentage. This will depend on the amount or percentage in the Percentage/Amount field. For calculated price adjustments, the Price adjustment field is not used and will always contains the value zero.

To specify a calculated price adjustment, click Price/Discount setup and enter a calculation formula.
