Updated: March 21, 2011

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Product information management > Setup > Product builder > Defaults > Default routes.

Use this form to create and approve default routes, which you can use when you build the modeling tree. The purpose of default routes is to make it possible to build route structures that can be used as templates for product model routes.

This information applies only to Product builder.

The route approval procedure is similar to the functions that correspond to standards that relate to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 routes and standard Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 bills of materials. (BOMs)

We recommend that you do not use this form, because it is being officially deprecated and may be removed, and may not be available in future versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.
