Click Home > Common > Questionnaires > Design > Questionnaires. Click Questions > Questions.

Click Home > Common > Questionnaires > Design > Questionnaires. Click Result groups, and then click Questions.

Use this form to select the questions to use on the current questionnaire. If you are not using result groups, you can add questions directly to a questionnaire. If you are using result groups, you must first set up the result groups for a questionnaire and then add questions to the result groups. This form is used in both instances. Note

You cannot use the same question multiple times on a questionnaire. To include a question more than one time, you must create different questions with the same text. That also allows you to evaluate the answers and their results separately, according to where they appear in the questionnaire.

Questionnaire

The identification of the questionnaire that the question is associated with.

Question

Associate a question from the list with a questionnaire.

Sequence number

Enter the number of the question, if any, in the sequence of questions. This has an effect only if you selected the Sequence check box on the Setup tab of the Questionnaires form.

If you do not specify a sequence number, the questions are asked in the order in which they are sorted in the list.

Must be completed

Select this check box if the question must be answered before the questionnaire can be ended and the answers are saved.

If the session is interrupted, the answers are not saved, and the questionnaire status is still Created.

Result calculation

Specify how to calculate the result from the following options:

  • None – Points for answers are not added to any result group.

    Note

    Select this option if you are not using point statistics or result groups on a questionnaire.

  • Questions – Points for answers are added to the result group for the question.

  • Answer – Points for answers are added to the result group for the answer.

  • If not answer, then question – Points for answers are added to the result group for the answer, if you specify them. Otherwise, they are added to the result group for the question.

Result group

Select the result group that points from the question should be distributed to. You can select only from the groups that you defined on the Questionnaires form.

Primary question

If the current question is a secondary question, the identification of the primary question is displayed.

Answer

If you are working with conditional question hierarchies on your questionnaire, select the answer of the primary question that the secondary question is dependent upon.
