Table value (form)

Click Product information management > Common > Product builder > Product models. Select a product model. On the Action Pane, click the Models tab. In the Modify group, click Open. In the lower pane, on the Tree tab, double-click Table node.
Use this form to specify that one or more variables should be filled in with values selected from one or more fields in a specific table.

Navigating the form
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Table |
Specify the name of the table from which you will select the fields on the Look up and Field: tabs. |
Look up |
Specify the table fields that will be used for the lookup. Note The values that are used for the lookup can be specified either as static texts (values) or with a variable. The type of value specification is selected in the Allocation of field group on the Look up tab. |

Specify the table fields to be transferred to the product model variables. |

Table name |
Select the name of the table in which the field values will be looked up. |
Value |
Indicates that the Value field should receive a specific value. |
Variable |
Indicates that the Value field should receive the value of a variable. |
Field name |
Select the table field which will be used for the lookup. |
Value |
If you clicked Value in the Allocation of field group, specify a value for the field selected in Table. If you clicked Variable in the Allocation of field group, select a modeling variable or another product model variable. This variable's value will be used as a lookup key. |
Field name |
Select the table field whose value will be transferred to the product model's variable specified in the Variable field. |
Variable |
Select the variable which will receive the value of the field specified in Field name. |
