Validate posting types (form)

Use this form to specify the posting types that are included in the validation of the main account that is selected in the Main accounts - chart of accounts: %1 form. Only the posting types that are specified can be posted for the selected main account.

This form is available when you select List in the Validate posting field in the Main accounts - chart of accounts: %1 form.

Open the form

1. Click General ledger > Setup > Chart of accounts > Chart of accounts.

2. Select a chart of accounts.

3. Select a main account.

4. On the Main accounts FastTab, click Edit.

5. In the Main accounts - chart of accounts: %1 form, click the Setup FastTab.

6. In the Validate posting field, select List.

7. Click Posting validation.
