Click Home > Periodic > Microsoft Outlook or Exchange Server synchronization > My contacts.

Use this form to gain an overview of the contacts that you have selected for synchronization with Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange Server.

Support for integration with Microsoft Exchange Server is available only in AX 2012 R3 Cumulative Update 8 and later.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

View the address information for your contact.

View the contact information for the contact.

Synchronization details

View the synchronization data for the selected contact, included the Microsoft Outlook entry identifier and the date and time that the contact was last synchronized between Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Outlook.

Contact details

Open the Contact details form, where you can view contact data for the selected contact.

Add contacts

Open a menu with the following items:

  • Add contacts from Microsoft Outlook – Select the contacts that you want to synchronize with Microsoft Dynamics AX.

  • Add contacts from Microsoft Dynamics – Select the contacts that you want to synchronize with Outlook or Exchange Server.

Synchronize

Synchronize your contacts between Microsoft Dynamics AX and Outlook or Exchange Server.

Description

Microsoft Outlook synchronization type

View the editing rights that the worker has for contact person record information in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Microsoft Outlook entry ID

View the identifier for the Microsoft Outlook synchronization folder.

Transaction time

View when the selected contact record information was last synchronized with Microsoft Outlook.
