Stage reason codes (form) [AX 2012]

Click Service management > Setup > Service orders > Stage reason codes.

Use this form to create and maintain reason codes in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Reason codes are used to explain changes to the stage of a service order. For example, you might want to know why a service order was canceled.

To prompt users for a reason code when they revise the stage of a service order, select the Reason check box in the Service stages form.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Enter a unique reason code identifier.


Type a description of the reason code.
