Project copy wizard (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. On the Action Pane, on the Project tab, in the New group, click Copy project.
Use this wizard to copy an existing project structure that is defined in a template project to a new project. Using the wizard is especially useful for copying the structure of a parent project and all of its subprojects. However, not all components of the source project can be copied by using the wizard. For example, worker assignments and item requirements are not copied.
After you create a project by using the template, you can modify some of the details in the new project.
