Check BOM (class form)

Click Inventory management > Common > Bills of materials. Select a BOM and then click Functions > Check.

Use this form to check the bill of materials (BOM) for inconsistencies or errors. If you want to check for circularity, the BOM levels are searched in ascending order, from bottom to top.

View or enter the criteria for a BOM check.

Batch

Specify criteria to run the check as a batch job. For more information, see Submit a batch processing job from a form.

Check circularity

Select to check for repetitious BOM lines.

Display principle

Select the display principle from the following options:

  • Active

  • Selected/Active

  • Selected

  • All

BOM number

View the number of the BOM that you decide to check, or select a new one.

Search interval only

Select if you only want to check versions and BOM lines where the period of validity overlaps the one specified in the From date and To date fields.

Search interval with lines only

Select if you only want to check BOM lines where the period of validity overlaps the one specified in the From date and To date fields.

From date

Enter the start date for the interval that contains the versions and BOM lines that you want to check.

To date

Enter the end date of the interval that contains the versions and BOM lines that you want to check.
