Reverse elimination (class form)

Depending on your version of the program, do one of the following:

  • In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2: Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. Double-click a Fixed-price or Investment project. In the Projects form, on the Revenue recognition FastTab, right-click the Estimate project ID field, and then click View details on the shortcut menu. In the Estimate projects form, in the Related information group, click Estimates. On the Estimate form, in the menu bar, click Reverse elimination.

  • Otherwise: Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > Estimate projects. On the Action Pane, in the Related information group, click Estimates. On the Estimate form, in the menu bar, click Reverse elimination.

Use this form to reverse a previously-eliminated work-in-progress (WIP) project.

Note

When this form is opened from the Periodic area, you can use it to reverse all eliminations in a period. Click Project management and accounting > Periodic > Estimates > Reverse estimate eliminations.

Open a query and select the data to be included. View the data selections in the Select query.

Recurrence

Change the start time and start date of the batch job or set up a recurring batch.

Alerts

Open the Set up alerts for batch jobs form, in which you can select which alerts to receive about this batch job.

Period code

Select the code of the period type for which you want to post estimates, such as for a payroll period, week, or month.

Estimate date

Select the end date for period for which you want to reverse eliminations.

Set stage to In process

Reset the estimate project stage to In process after running reverse elimination.

Print estimate list

Select the information to be included when the estimate list is printed.

Show Infolog

Select this check box to display the Infolog.

Posting date

Enter the posting date of the estimate.

Transaction date

The posting date when the company gains knowledge of the transaction.

Note

This control is available only when the legal entity's primary address is in Italy and the Transaction date reference to competence date check box is selected in the General ledger parameters form.

Batch processing

Select if the job will be run as a batch job. If you do not select this option, Microsoft Dynamics AX generates transaction summaries when you click OK in this form.

Caption

Enter an identifier for the batch job.

Batch group

Select a batch group to use for the job.

Private

Select if the job is private. A private batch job can be executed only by the user who submitted the job. Making a job private prevents other users from viewing details and data about the job.
