Inventory statistics (form) [AX 2012]

Click Product information management > Common > Released products. On the Procurement tab or the Sell tab, click Period statistics.

This form provides an overview of the item's turnover ratio. The turnover ratio indicates how often an item moves through the inventory regarding a purchase, production, or sales order, with regard to the total on-hand inventory.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Period statistics

View the number of purchase, sales, and return orders in addition to the total purchase, sales, and return amounts for all periods. View the statistics for the item's turnover ratio over five periods.

Preceding month. For example, if today's date is October 21, statistics for September will be shown.

Statistics for the whole year, up to and including today's date.

Statistics for the previous year.

Statistics up to and including the current date.

Other

View the date, voucher number, quantity, and amount of the last receipt, purchase, and sale, and positive and negative adjustments of inventory in addition to the number of items that are available.

Description

Start date

Start date of the current statistics period.

End date

End date of the current statistics period.

Purchase

Number of purchase orders.

Quantity purchased

Number of items that are purchased, in inventory units.

Total

Total sum of purchase orders that are analyzed in the current statistics period.

Sales order

Number of sales orders.

Quantity sold

Number of items that are sold, in inventory units.

Total

Total sum of sales orders that are analyzed in the current statistics period.

Return

Number of return orders.

Quantity returned

Number of return orders in the current statistics period.

Total

Total sum of return orders that are analyzed in the current statistics period.

Calculated turnover ratio

Total turnover ratio.
