Add Application Object Server instance (form) [AX 2012]

Start > Administrative Tools > Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Configuration > Connection > Add

Use the Add Application Object Server Instance form in the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Configuration utility to add an instance of Application Object Server (AOS) to the list of servers that you can connect your client to.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Field

Description

Server name

Enter the name of the computer that runs the AOS instance.

Instance name (Optional)

Enter a name for the AOS instance.

TCP/IP port (Optional)

Enter the TCP/IP port that the AOS instance runs on.

WSDL port (Optional)

Specify the Web services port that the AOS instance runs on.
