Approve the configuration

After you set up information in the Product Builder configuration form, click OK. The choices that you made are displayed in the Product Builder approval form, where you can approve your configuration. The Product Builder approval form can also be set to display any modeling variables that have been set to hidden in the Product Builder configuration form.

This information applies only to Product builder.

Note

To skip the product model approval when you configure an item, select the Hide approval dialog check box in the Released product details form.

Approve the configuration

  1. If the Sales price calculation check box in the Product builder parameters form is selected, click Calculate price in the Product Builder approval form to calculate an item price.

  2. Click Calculate delivery date to calculate a delivery date.

  3. Click OK, Cancel, or Back to configuration to approve the configuration, cancel it, or continue modifying it.

Display hidden modeling variables

  1. Click Product information management > Setup > Product builder > Product builder parameters.

  2. Click the Approval link and select the Show all variables check box.
