Mass create sales or project quotations (class form)

Click Sales and marketing > Periodic > Quotation update > Mass create quotations.

Click Project management and accounting > Periodic > Quotations > Mass create quotations.

Use this form to create several quotations at the same time.

Tasks that use this form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
General	View and enter criteria.
Batch	Prepare the batch processing.

Button	Description
Select	Open the Inquiry form, in which you can modify and filter the query that generates the quotations. The values that you select in the Field and Criteria fields in the query are reflected in the fields on the General tab. For more information, see Inquiry (form).
Recurrence	Set up recurring batch jobs.
Alerts	Set up alerts for batch jobs.

Field	Description
Quotation type	The type of quotations that you are about to create.
Account type	Select an account type: Prospect – The account type is a prospect. Customer – The account type is a customer.
Group ID	Select a template group. For more information, see Quotation template groups (form).
Template name	Select a template from the template group.
Calculation method	Select the prices to use for the quotations. If you select Based on current values, the prices are based on the item card. If you select Based on template values, the prices are based on the selected quotation template.
Expiration date	Select an expiration date for the new quotation.
Account	The account of the prospect.
Table source	The source table that you will use for the mass creation.
Job title	The job title of the contact.
Inactive	Indicates whether the contact is active or inactive.
Batch processing	Select this check box to run the task as a batch job.
Caption	The description of the task that should be run as a batch job.
Batch group	Select the group that the task should be attached to.
Private	Select this check box to makes sure that the task can be run only by the user who ordered the batch job.
