Fixed asset group/depreciation book bonus (form) [AX 2012]

Click Fixed assets > Setup > Depreciation > Special depreciation allowance.

Use this form to define bonus depreciation information. The information that you enter is displayed in the Depreciation book special depreciation allowance form when an asset in the specified fixed asset group is associated with the specified depreciation book.

Bonus depreciation lets you take extra or bonus depreciation amounts during the first year that the asset is placed in service and depreciated. A bonus depreciation record can be deleted at any time, and only new assets that are added to the specific depreciation book will be affected.

Field

Description

Bonus

The bonus depreciation record name.

Description

The description of the bonus depreciation record.

Percentage

Enter a percentage for the bonus depreciation.

Amount

Enter an amount in the functional currency for the bonus depreciation.

Priority

Enter a priority order number for the bonus depreciation. When there is more than one bonus depreciation to be taken for an asset, the priority will be considered.

Depreciation book

The depreciation book name.

Fixed asset group

The fixed asset group name.
