A record delimiter is a new line that separates one record from another in an import file. The record delimiter marks the end of an import data set for one record and indicates to Microsoft Dynamics AX that the next group of fields belongs to a new record. There can be many fields of data in one record.

Example

The following is an example of an import file:

Name, Street Name, Number, Zip/postal code, County, State/Province, Country/Region, Telephone (new line)

Name, Street Name, Number, Zip/postal code, County, State/Province, Country/Region, Telephone (new line)
