User variable profiles (form)

Click Product information management > Setup > Product builder > Modeling variables. Click User profiles.

Use this form to attach one or more user profiles to a modeling variable.

The user profiles are used in product models to determine which outcomes can be set by the user during item configuration.

If a variable has no attached user profiles, it is available from all profiles.

Navigating the form

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Field	Description
Variable	The name of the current modeling variable, which is the modeling variable that a user profile is being assigned to.
User profile	Select the name of a user profile that should be attached to the modeling variable.
