Search the Web for information about a place

Note  You must have an Internet connection to use this feature.

  1. Click a Pushpin; point of interest (such as a hotel or restaurant); the name of a landmark (such as the Empire State Building); or the name of a city, town, country/region, or other map feature to select it. The item is selected when its name is surrounded by a box.

  2. On the Standard toolbar, click Search the Web Search the Web button.

    – or –

    Right-click the selected place or item, and then click Search the Web on the context menu.

    – or –

    On the Edit menu, click Search the Web.

    Your Web browser opens at MSN® Search, displaying a list of links related to the place you chose.
