Sales target (form) [AX 2012]

Click Sales and marketing > Periodic > Sales management > Sales target.

Use this form to set up and maintain sales targets for the members of a sales unit. Sales targets can be set up for a whole fiscal year, or they can be divided into the quarters and months of a fiscal year.

Financial sales management must be performed directly on the members of a sales unit. Financial sales management cannot be performed on the sales unit itself, because the sales unit only aggregates the figures of the entity that is under it.

Sales units are created and managed in the Sales unit/team form.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

The form is split into two areas:

  • The list area displays all sales units that are defined for the company, and all members of each unit.

  • The tab area displays the target fields for a selected member of the sales unit.
