Use this form to create the diagnosis areas that are used in repair lines for service objects. Diagnosis areas are used to group diagnosis codes and describe problems.

A customer brings an automobile to your repair shop and reports several issues, which you list as diagnosis areas:

  • When the brakes are applied, the car makes a noise and the steering wheel shakes. You add Brake pads as a diagnosis area.

  • The car shakes when it turns corners. You add Steering linkage as a diagnosis area.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.
