Adjust transactions (class form) (Project)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Project management and accounting > Periodic > Transactions > Adjust transactions. Select a transaction, and then click the Adjust button.

Use this form to specify the number of lines that a transaction should be divided into and make other optional changes to transaction values and field properties. After you specify changes in this form, you can continue to make adjustments to the new lines in the lower pane in the Adjustment form

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Fields

Field

Description

Split in number of lines

Enter the number of lines that the transaction should be divided into.

If you enter “1,” the transaction is adjusted as a whole. If you enter “2” or larger, the transaction is split into even quantities that can be adjusted individually. If the transaction consists of an odd number of hours, the leftover hour is added to the last quantity.

Project

Select a new project for the adjusted transactions.

Activity number

Select a new activity number for the adjusted transactions.

Category

Select a new category for the adjusted transactions.

Line property (field)

Select a new line property for the adjusted transactions.

Line property (check box)

Select this check box to update the line property.

Cost price - hour

Select this check box to update the hour-cost price.

Sales currency

Select this check box to update the sales currency.

Sales price

Enter the new sales price to update in the new lines.

Markup percentage

If you selected Markup percentage in the Sales price field, enter the percentage by which the sales price is to be marked up in the new lines.

Tax

Select this check box to update the tax.

Dimension

Select this check box to update the dimensions.
