Cancel promissory note (class form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Cash and bank management > Common > Promissory notes. Click Promissory note journal and then click Cancel.

Use this form to cancel the selected promissory note that has a status of Drawn.

When you cancel a drawn promissory note, the following changes are made:

• The ledger postings that are related to the promissory note are offset.

• The settlements for transactions that were settled against the promissory note are reversed.

• A new transaction with the promissory note that has a status of None is created for the vendor.
