Recruitment projects (form) [AX 2012]

Click Human resources > Common > Recruitment > Recruitment projects.

  • To create a new recruitment project, on the Action Pane, click Recruitment project

  • To modify an existing recruitment project, select a recruitment project and then, on the Action Pane, click Edit.

Use this form to maintain recruitment projects, which are projects that allow you to track the recruiting progress for a specific job.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Select an action for the recruitment project.

Button

Description

Applications

Open the Applications list page, where you can view a list of applications for the project.

Media

Open the Project media form, where you can maintain information about the media that is associated with the project. For example, if you advertised the job in the recruitment project with a newspaper, you can enter information about the newspaper and the dates when you advertised the job with that newspaper.

Developments

Open the Developments form, where you can track important events for the project.

Job ads

Open the Job ads form, where you can update the text for the job advertisement associated with the project.

Available online pages

Open the Available pages form, where you can view a list of Sites Services for Microsoft Dynamics ERP web pages that display the job advertisement associated with the project.

Print accommodations

Print any workplace accommodations that were requested by applicants who have applied for the job that is specified in the recruitment project.

Recruitment project status

Select a status to update the status of the project. For more information about recruitment project statuses, see Change the status of a recruitment project.

Attachments

View documents that are already attached to a selected record, or attach documents to the selected record.

Recruitment project

Enter a unique name for the recruitment project.

Description

Enter a description of the recruitment project.

Recruiter

Select the employee who is responsible for the project.

Project status

Current status of the project. To change the status, click Recruitment project status.

Department

Select the department that you are recruiting for.

 Operating units (form).

Job

Select the job that you are recruiting for.

The information in this field is maintained in the following form:

 Job (form)

Number of openings

Type the number of positions that you plan to fill for the job that you selected.

Hiring manager

Select the worker to assign as the contact person for the recruitment project.

Alternative contact

Select the worker to assign as the secondary contact person for the recruitment project.

Requisition approved on

Enter the date when the job requisition was approved.

Open date

Select the date when the recruitment project opens. This is the earliest date that applications for the recruitment project will be accepted.

Application deadline

Select the final date when applications will be accepted.

If you post a job advertisement on Enterprise Portal from your project, the date (not the ending date of the recruitment project) determines whether the job advertisement is displayed.

Close date

Select an ending date for the project. If the project is prolonged, you must change the ending date in order to record additional use of media for the project.

Estimated start date

Select the date when you expect new workers hired from this recruitment project to start their first day of work.

Display job ad on Enterprise portal

Select this check box to display the job advertisement for the project on Enterprise Portal.

NoteNote

You must click Job ads and enter the text for the job advertisement before you can select this check box.

Publish job ad to Sites Services

Select this check box to publish the job advertisement to Sites Services. For more information, see (USA) Recruit online with Sites Services.
